Overall Satisfaction with Atera
We replaced an expensive MSP that really wasn't hold up their end of the deal. We use Atera for the ability to manage computers. Being able to remote in to the desktop, access command line and PowerShell without the users knowledge. Pushing out updates and scripts. Been extremely helpful.
And since I am a one man shop it allows me to support our people from anywhere and at anytime.

- Remote access to devices
- Monitoring of devices
- pulling information from devices on a schedule.
- Some of the PowerShell commands do not work right.
- More control over the updates. Being able to exclude specific updates.
- We went from paying a third part $10k a month to paying just $1500 a year. And get better service.
Continuum and Connectwise are the two I have used in the past. Now they have merged into one company. They are much more comprehensive and more difficult to setup. Not to mention all the addons to this and that just inflate the cost. Atera is much cheaper and easier to use.
We already use Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection to monitor the devices and their security. It would be nice if Atera integrated with Microsoft. But Atera picks up where Microsoft left off. The built in remote access and the Realtime monitoring you get from Atera is a nice complement to what Microsoft offers.
We are single company using the product for ourselves only. The billing has no use to us. The reporting is nice but needs to be more flexible/customizable. The remote access is the key for us. Being able to monitor the devices is also something we use a lot and has help us tremendously .
