Atera RMM Support and Endpoint Management
Overall Satisfaction with Atera
Atera is our main support and endpoint management tool that we use for our organization. It encompasses our Remote management suite that technicians can use to service endpoints, allows our users to work from home by utilizing the RMM in a friendly end-user interface, and provides patch management to all of our endpoint devices. But where it really shines is the apps. By utilizing the Atera apps we are also able to deploy endpoint antivirus and detection and respose to all of our devices through the Atera agent, as well as email security applications. All of these apps can be deployed with just a click of a button and with a discount for a subscription fees.
Pros
- Remote Management
- AI/Copilot Integration
- Patch Management
- Work From Home environment
Cons
- I would like to see their pricing tiers done differently. It's a high price for any SSO integration that would benefit smaller customers.
- Support Portal for end users customization
- More options for RMM Agents
- Our org is very small, and Atera has helped our support side tremendously by automating patch management and enpoint onboarding.
- The addition of AI capabilities to Atera has been the biggest draw by far.
- The app store within Atera has helped us bring in 3rd party functionality, like phishing protection, at a discounted rate by partnering with Atera
It has been a great resource in that when we need new functionality on our endpoints that can be found through the App center, we were able to deploy immediately and all of the billing was taken care of directly through Atera. This saves us time and there is additional savings in the discounted subscription costs.
NinjaOne is a great tool for Remote management and patch management. However, Atera is more polished and gives better functionality for the end user side through things like work from home, and the support portal knowledge base. Also, when using NinjaOne, I don't remember there being much support ticketing functionality, which Atera excels at. The best feature by far though is the integration of AI for support, scripting and endpoint management.
