Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence
Confluence has helped our organization more effectively communicate processes, product information, and organizational documentation. We are a global organization and having information in one spot enables us to house all information in a single spot. We can easily update and add content as needed and all our materials can be easily searched. Because our team has many smaller offices around the world, this tool allows us to keep everyone updated on changes and updates on products and processes.
- Spaces allow teams to house information specific to their team.
- Search option allows you to easily find relevant information.
- Templates provide consistent themes.
- Integration with different systems we use (i.e. JIRA).
- Isn't always intuitive.
- Support is all cloud based documentation.
- Integration with other systems we use.
- Single source for housing all our documentation, processes, and related business information.
- Ease of use now that it is set up for our organization.
- Being able to search content easily speeds up the process of finding needed data.
- In the last 24 months, we have nearly tripled the size of our team. Having a single source for training documents and sharing information has significantly reduced the time it would take to train.
- We have also recently implemented several new tools and we have used Confluence to monitor updates in sprints and fixes on bugs, etc.
- Integrations have helped keep everything in one spot.
I have used other tools that allow for documentation and housing of other business-related documents but none that I used had the same integration or general ability to add and edit information. I am also a general user so I don't know how easy/difficult the backend is, but for my purposes, this is a pretty easy tool to use.
