Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR

BambooHR is a great piece of software for small business needs that allows your team to be agile and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of the business world. There are a lot of very good software companies for Human Resources that exist, but BambooHR has been a great one for our business for the time that we did use it.

  • Negative impact when compared to the pricing structure of some of the competitors.
  • Negative impact for reporting and getting actionable data.
  • Positive for management of documentation and corrective action tracking.
BambooHR pricing leaves it a bit harder of a sell than some of the competitors we have used in the past. If it was fully featured rich with an overflow of integrations that might be different, but as it stands, without a pricing change, I think that bridge is a harder sell for me to think of re-implementing.

We used but ultimately have switched away from BambooHR. When we used them they solved a lot of the issues we had running an operation of 60+ users. However, some of the reporting, customization through the limited payroll providers, and other smaller issues lead us to change our software in the last year or so. The pricing was also less competitive with the sometimes lackluster integrations and reporting they allowed at the base level.
