Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
BigCommerce is being used as the platform for our website. The website is used as a product library for marketing, customer support, application engineering, engineering, and quality assurance. From some members of our manufacturing and purchasing team: it is also a quick guide to our product offering, allowing easy access to datasheets.
- BigCommerce is quite customizable, especially with a third-party developer.
- BigCommerce is powerful as a database.
- BigCommerce is convenient to use with bulk-edits.
- BigCommerce does require users to be more sophisticated with computers.
- BigCommerce does not have a "drag-and-drop" design feature for the front-end.
- BigCommerce can be intimidating if you have lots of products.
- BigCommerce enabled us to go toward a more e-commerce model.
- BigCommerce helped organize all of our product information for customers, allowing easier browsing.
- BigCommerce helped our brand become more recognized and professional in our market.
We ultimately went with BigCommerce because of bulk-edit and because we had better synergy with the third-party developer we worked with. It may be overlooked, but lots of companies don't have software capability. Who BigCommerce names as elite partners, how those partners' services are priced, etc. all factor into a customer's decision.
