Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We enjoyed working within the BigCommerce platform for about five years. We liked how easy it was to update and change products, pricing, and photos. The interface is great for beginners and small stores with a small footprint. We struggled with the platform when our business grew and found it did not have all the features we were looking for, for the bakery.

- It updates at odd times, which isn't good for business
- Has a tendency to lock up so it's hard to log in and see sales
- Customer service was sometimes hard to reach/understand
- It is affordable and useable at the less expensive options
- Gives great information for growing business
- Checkout process was streamlined for customer

We outsourced this. But it worked well.
Shopify, while it has a larger learning curve, is better able to meet our needs as we grow. The customer service is easy to understand and often has step by step instructions in order to do what we need it to do. They offer different courses and have access to more apps that help with different product growth.
