Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
BigCommerce is our primary web site platform. It allows potential customers to find us on the web, place orders and obtain status.
Pros
- The up time is great. Very seldom is the site "down".
- The interface with payment platforms such as Amazon Pay, PayPal and Credit Card processing is reliable.
- The customer experience and order flow is good. Simple check-out reduces abandoned carts.
Cons
- The tracking emails just don't seem to work correctly for us. We have attempted several times to improve this with no luck. Probably something we are doing wrong or don't have set up properly.
- The ability to block customer IP addresses (or ranges) would help reduce attempted fraud
- BigCommerce has been a great business partner allowing us to focus on sales vs technical management of a site.
- Using BigCommerce has allowed us to streamline our work flow with the use of integrated apps.
- The return on investment with BigCommerce is definitely positive.

The open APIs allow us to share BigCommerce data between different software. For example it is the single point of product entry that is used by SellerActive and TreeFrog to post listings on Walmart, eBay and Amazon. SellerActive also controls the BigCommerce inventory quantity to avoid overselling between markets.
