Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We only use BigCommerce for our wholesale portion of our E-Commerce business. It is our website & store for wholesale customers only & it is how we track and process all wholesale orders.
- Easy to use
- Great, detailed invoice/order details
- Awesome 24 hour customer service
- Better search/CSV export of ALL data
- Updated tools for basic website building
- Positive overall dashboard with good data, we love that
- We still enter most orders manually. Even though I have streamlined that process, it still takes quite a bit of time, even with a paid Zapier integration between Xero & BigCommerce & Stitchlabs & Shipstation. Most of our wholesale customers pay via terms so they order through email.

We use few integrations because our wholesale customer base pays via terms and barely uses the site to browse products. About 10% will use the storefront to make a purchase. Our retail e-commerce site, Shopify, uses many of the integrations & we can't have multiple accounts.
BigCommerce is much like the first version of the wheel next to Shopify. Although I like the simplicity, when I think of opening up my own e-commerce site, I will not choose BigCommerce. I don't love Shopify, but next to Squarespace, it is probably the best option to have a prosperous e-commerce site.
