Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
We use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT to send messages to people who have signed up for our mailing list. It allows us to communicate with supporters, raise funds, invite for events, etc.
Pros
- Provides data on effectiveness of communications - who opened, clicked etc.
- Formats messages attractively
- Keeps track of donations
- Allows us to create customized mailing lists
Cons
- Not easy to compose messages, add pictures, etc.
- Messages are going to spam
- Organizing constituent records
- Communication through Online Express
- Saves time
- Allows for more regular communication - greater outreach
We were able to assess the value of in person fundraising events as compared to online campaigns.
- No Training
Obviously, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT does much more than what Eventbrite does, but when we were having trouble with our emails reaching people, we had to opt into Eventbrite as a supplemental form of communication that ensured that our messages did not end up in spam or promotions. we could not rely on something like Eventbrite alone, so of course, we need Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and are hoping to resolve the issue with the emails so that we can use it more comprehensively.
