Overall Satisfaction with Box

This has a deep integration with Mac and Windows OS.
This is a collaborative tool, which is being used to share documents from desktop to cloud within an enterprise.
This is reliable and has security protection while accessing the cloud and large data.
This also has great admin tools which help in collaboration management where the data can be restricted with privileges.
Also has a great sharing feature as large data can be shared among multiple people.
  • Helps to sync all the contents in cloud along with that of the Box installed. It integrates with file explorer on that of windows or macOS
  • Sharing of files is very seamless and easy task especially when there are multiple people involved in the organization or project to work.
  • This has a great feature of controlling the access of the files as well as folders and set appropriate privileges while sharing or collaborating with others.
  • Can be shared via link or email and can be managed when it comes to collaboration.
  • It has a great security feature enabled which has AES 256 bit encryption and also has the scope for full end to end encryption. This also has a 2 factor authentication enabled for additional security.
  • When it comes to pricing, and when it comes to personal pro plan then the cost is a little high.
  • There could be limited consumer options available.
  • Some of the features might get overlapped.
  • Accessibility of data anywhere in the world.
  • Reliability in data transfer which would have large files.
  • Security protection while accessing the data in cloud and while the data is transferred.
  • Managing who would access the data and who would have the privilege to view, modify and delete the data.

Did implementation of Box go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Box again?

Yes

As this gets integrated with Outlook, Office, Android devices, tablets, Mac devices, email, Webdocs, XML viewer and also sync well with Windows and Macintosh. This also has a feature for Microsoft Office suite integration for export and import and is also Microsoft Office online compatible.. This gives an allowable data type which is for low data, medium data, elevated data like Personal identifiable records, FERPA data etc, and also for high data like data governed by the government of the country.
When it comes to high amount of data with high risk then Box is the best fit with limited collaboration and communication on the data.
1) It is well suited when it comes to large file transfer.
2) Transfer required via email/link with managed collaboration.
3) For easy access of data on cloud and easy sync.
4) This fits the best with enterprises and has the chance to integrate with many tools and s/w and OS.
Whereas this is less appropriate:
1) When it comes to having a personal setup or personal pro account then it comes to a little more price.
2) Also when we speak about many consumer options, there is also a chance of improvements.
3) This also has some of the features which are overlapping.
