Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

I am using App Automate feature of BrowserStack. As per my experience, We have test on different mobile version with multiple OS. BrowserStack provides auto generate report after execution of your script which is the best one of this tool and also, It will take auto record of your execution. This product has vast community to support their users. If you are interest to take the license, just Go for it.

Pros

  • This is super easy to spin up any device you want in few minutes, like iOS, Android, Windows, Mac or even Windows Phone. It'll be work like physical devices.
  • If you have any issue regarding project setup or configuration, Their support-team has very effective in resolving that.
  • BrowserStack helps to use the Browser dev tools for easy debugging purposes.
  • The UI interface is very easy to use and understand

Cons

  • There are no Linux/Ubuntu devices available for testing. Also, main problem for testing apps is Limited set of devices in inventory.
  • It is a bit expensive for small companies to avail the user license. They have different license for packages.
  • On some rare occasions too connecting to a device takes a significant amount of time. I believe these can be improved upon.
  • Cross browser platform with different OS
  • Take this for limited time, And save money for buying product
  • After every execution, It'll help you to generate report
  • It'll be more easy to use on both manual and automation testing phase.
  • You can use anywhere with anytime without any issue.
  • It'll be give you more productivity as compare using physical devices
Yes, you can integrate this in other software. I'm using App automate in CI/CD process through Jenkins. It'll be get little bit of slowness but nothing to be terminated or stop.
In my team, We also use App live feature for manual things. This one is give best result as compare with physical devices. We can work easily and maintain the smooth process. It has a lot of features and integrations that make it a good hub to use as a central dashboard.
I'm using the app automate feature for Automation of mobile application. So, we are add Jenkins for CI process to use on BrowserStack. For mobile application testing, We are using Appium with java client in our framework and also integrate with BrowserStack capabilities.

In my office, we need both multiple types of iOS and android devices to do automation testing. This product makes it easy for that instead of buying different devices. Perfect value for money. The support and documentation of the product, most of the issues that I have encountered, are resolved and are addressed properly by the support channels.
