Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

I use it for mobile devices compatibility and performance for now.
Planning to expand the usage for other web and mobile applications and games.

Pros

  • Manage device inventory for mobile phones
  • Negative testing aspects like Network and performance
  • Managing of apps and test data

Cons

  • Would like BS to be integrated within Jira to make the reporting of test related issues easily
  • Should have distinct devices in inventory on list like Android gaming consoles and Foldable mobile devices
  • Should allow users to have full control of hired devices for app live feature

  • Efficient way to reduce on device purchase costs, especially for iOs and expensive devices inventory
  • Easy to control and access BS GUI for app live testing
BS doesn't always gives 100% accurate results for app live mobile testing.
Sometime the apps runs slowly or visually with low FPS and crashes on BS devices, but the app runs normally locally for the same device present with us. This concludes that the reliability is not 100% accurate.
Obliviously BS has impacted in a positive way towards our journey of testing the apps on multiple types of devices and locations with different network scenarios made easy. It has helped save development time and the most efficient tool we have so far in terms of covering diversified Android platform and mobile market.
have used AWS Device Farm for coverage of mobile devices, but I found BS more easy to control and use.
It's simpler and less complicated than AWS.

Its best suited for compatibility and performance testing of games and apps.
Least suited for using in for gaming apps, should give keyboard game control to control of gamming applications.
