Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Buffer to publish social media posts for small businesses. The scheduling features, automation, and tools they have available are useful for planning a social media program. It is a very simple program that offers the ability to schedule posts to go out to multiple platforms at once.

Zoho Social, Bambu by Sprout Social and Hootsuite

Buffer had the best free version, but Zoho Social had the most social media channels available in the price range.

Hootsuite was the tool we first wanted, but the price was considerably more, for tools we are not sure if we need at this time.

Usability

Very easy to use overall. Sometimes the customizing for specific channels can get confusing. The free version really only lets you schedule 1 post at a time if you are posting on multiple social channels, because each channel will count as a post.

Support Rating

Have not needed to contact support, but their emails are informative and they periodically will have good deals.

Buffer is the perfect solution for someone starting out a business with social media. The tools are straight forward with a usable free version that helps you try out what you are doing before purchasing. They offer the ability to post on main social networks, and the ability to customize each post for each network.
