Overall Satisfaction with Calendly

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Calendly to schedule sessions with my clients. I can open an event and they can use Calendly to schedule a consultation for their session or to book a session during an event. It is easy to use, integrates with my Google calendar and sends reminders automatically. I like that I can ask questions about each client for their session specifically to prepare their customization requests.

Cons

If an event isn't scheduled with a buffer any changes the entire event has to be deleted and set up again.
Make it easier to get responses from questionnaires associated with an event.

Return on Investment

I book sessions faster so my sales velocity is high.
I save time with the automated features of the application.
I can run multiple events at the same time with minimal overhead.

Alternatives Considered

Doodle

Calendly is much more user-friendly with respect to setting aside a series of meetings in one day that are 15 minutes or such throughout the day. Doodle made you manually calculate the different time slots with buffers, Calendly sets it all up automatically with buffers in between. The text and email reminders didn't really work or exist with Doodle. The user interface of Calendly is much more user-friendly than Doodle.

Support Rating

Support was responsive, honest, and helpful. When I had an issue with the buffer causing problems with one of my events, they told me there was a limitation with the software, how to fix the problem, and how to communicate with my customers in a way that explained the inconvenience and how to reschedule the event.

For photographers who run events that require multiple sessions to be scheduled in one day, this application works very well. For a small shop operation, it automates the confirmations and keeps information in one place for easy access on a desktop or a mobile device for portable/mobile business operations. Love the Google Calendar integration but also the ability to copy and paste scheduling options into an email is really helpful/useful.

Mobile Interface Availability and Impressions

Yes - It works really well and makes doing business on the go super simple and easy. I can get all of the information at my fingertips and be responsive to my clients. I stay on top of each event as needed and I can also send additional invitations to new clients with ease. I love this app!

Usability

As a small shop operation, I can work as though I have a bigger team. I can be responsive to the needs of my customers with regard to scheduling and the integrations with other application makes all the difference. The mobile app is also easy to use and versatile. For a business that is based on scheduled appointments, this is the go-to app for any company.
