Overall Satisfaction with Canva
Our marketing department uses Canva on a weekly basis to create social posts. We would then share the creative internally for pier review and improvements before deciding on the best creative for a specific post. Canva is a quick and easy tool to use to create a post without wasting time.
- Create posts with the correct dimensions for the specific social platform
- Wide variety of useful graphics to make your post pop
- Share creative internally for a quick review and modifications
- When sharing a creative via email, sometimes the visual in the email is distorted in element sizes
- The search functionality in the font selections is not great.
- I would like a keyboard + mouse shortcut for zooming
- Import corporate identity items
- Post dimensions ready to post in the different social platforms
- Sharing creatives for quick review and updates
- Increased efficiency to get a creative ready to post
- Saving time on post creatives and thus saving on money spent to create it
- Having past creatives available to the team also saves on onsite data management space and time
Inkscape is an open-source graphic design tool but it does not provide for cloud storage, content sharing and has a much steeper learning curve compared to Canva.
We also use Google Drive as cloud storage but this is only a storage solution. Google Drawings can then cater for some limited creative functionality compared to Canva.
