What is Bitrix24?

Bitrix24 is a local-hosted or cloud-based social intranet and project management platform from the the company of the same name that also contains core HR (HRMS) and CRM features as well. It features live activity streaming, a layout similar to a social networking site's, "Like!"-ing, document storing and sharing, chat and video conferencing, time tracking and a calendar, a Gantt chart, and a messaging system. It possesses CRM features (CRM database with invoices, sales reports, and customer outreach) focused on client interaction, and an HRMS with an employee directory, a company structure, and a self-service portal.

Pricing varies. The self or local hosted version can be obtained for about $3300 or $9900 with a one-time license purchase, depending on needs (the higher priced tier is very similar but contains multiple intranets for various departments). A free cloud based version exists for use by 12 employees; no external users are allowed however, and 5GB of space is all that is alloted. The Standard cloud pack can be obtained for $99 per month and supports unlimited employees and external users, with 100GB of space. Finally the Professional package is offered for $199 and supports unlimited usage and storage, as well as the aforementioned time tracking, workflow / approval processes and expense management, work reports, and a company's own domain name.

Bitrix24 is implemented in our marketing department and is used to manage our customer relations and better collaboration. Setting up this tool is quite easy and we can integrate this software with other tools and can make our work more convenient. It is a highly flexible tool. So this tool should work on its customer team.

  • It is an efficient tool in project management and we can track time spend on a project.
  • Its file-sharing feature is so helpful as I can share important files with colleagues.
  • Its integration is simple.
  • Its Audio conferencing doesn’t work well.
  • Some of its functions don’t operate perfectly.
Bitrix is a great tool for the management of customer relations. We are highly inspired by the speed of this software and the way it has organized our lives. Because of its features, we are capable of collaborating with our team and its time tracking, file sharing, and integration features work so well.

It comes with a lot of features for managing customers relation for making a dynamic marketing strategy. Sharing and attaching any type of file makes our work much easier for our portfolio. I personally don’t like its customer service that needs to be vigilant and should know the way they should treat their clients.

It is used as a CRM, email, and task & project management. Bitrix24 unifies using multiple applications into one beautiful, easy-to-use program. Opening, closing, and switching into different applications uses more time than one program that can do it all. It saves time, and computer resources too.
  • Unser Interface. You can even change the theme of the application.
  • You can see everything visually well.
  • Connecting with your email platform.
  • Technical support option with longer reply times for all users, not just commercial accounts.
  • Payment Options integration.
One application unifies the entire sales cycle from leads to collaborating with internal team members. Why use 3, 4, or 5 programs, just use one. Yes, it might not always be the fastest, but when you don't need to switch from one application to the next, in the end, you are saving some time.
If you also use Google Drive, you can share files with this program too. If you also need to track time for projects or with clients, this has a time tracking feature too. The visuals in Bitrix24 are awesome, if you like to see projects, plans, team's tasks visually, this is for you!
They have a great chat feature, definitely use them. Also, you can email them with questions, assistance too.
Phone would be great too, but not an option, maybe the business plans.

With Bitrix24 it is possible to maneuver quite modern administrative processes of creating and configuring workflows, which we usually focus on sales projects, where we distribute manage all the information that is stored about sales, and carry out reports about the level of marketing performance when the project in question is completed and launched for sale on the market.
  • The internal HR manager in Bitrix24 does not allow us to create sufficiently structured graphical lists of all absences that each employee has taken during his career within the company, and of all accessibility requests by employees to access some limited functionalities within the service.
  • When it comes to group management work, it has been good to be able to identify elements within the service that remain oriented to business processes, such as the specialized area of web sales. Based on that, Bitrix24 is a good service to be able to manage business directly and to bring in leads on an ongoing basis, while still having positive results.
  • It is well known that despite being a sales and CRM service, Bitrix24 has enough features to be able to plan projects of different scopes. Each of the project setup operations that can be executed within the Bitrix24 platform are accurate, or at least seem better and more streamlined than with any other service we've had the opportunity to test.
  • Bitrix24 automates the execution of administrative dynamics to optimize the overall sales force level, thus leading to better level transactions within the sales modalities, and by integrating Bitrix24 with other sales services, it is possible to mobilize the documents of operations performed from one service to another.
  • It can also be used to increase the quality level of the technical support operations that our support staff manages, as it allows for reviews of each support session, in order to evaluate the technician in question who is talking to customers while he is working in real time.
  • In the case of managing crossover operations, we believe that Bitrix24 offers a good level of analysis for such crossovers, even when you need to work surprisingly with charts of various shapes that require a large number of crossovers. This information on graphs and reports coming from Bitrix24 is very easy to configure to match the technical formats or general aspects of any other CRM, without losing the quality of the work.
  • It does not allow you to configure the synchronization of applications that connect from your suite, totally destabilizing the level of interaction that is usually had at multiplatform level during the work, and in case you need to transport data quickly from one service to another, having several devices connected to the second service, it will not comply with sufficient dynamics so that all devices can review the information instantly.
  • If you want to work with mass marketing, Bitrix24 does not have such a function, which tends to greatly limit the work plans with startups and small businesses that want to keep growing based on this type of marketing to cover their reach to customers.
  • Its structure is a bit more complicated than other sales platforms, making it difficult to work with documents or workflow configuration capabilities if you only have experience with smaller CRM and fewer applications.
Based on the fact that Bitrix24 is able to apply all the tools that the sales strategy requires, it can be said that it would be useful during product and service launch processes, as there is no apparent limit to the development of one of these operations. Since it has enough approaches to make the interaction with each potential customer highly specialized, and so that the sales analysis of the platform can include all kinds of data that have been imported through third-party sales funnel services, it is advisable to use it to keep updated all the reports of the administrative area. We think that Bitrix24 is an excellent service to focus on the total management of all the operations that occur during the hiring of salespeople, to increase the level of staff, and to automate the processes of recording the sales of each employee, mainly because with its tools it is possible to take advantage of the follow-up of each salesperson and their quality as such.
In terms of technical service, it is important to emphasize that Bitrix24 is a company that cares about providing its users with the highest quality of service possible, and that they adapt to different problematic situations that they encounter in relation to.

Bitrix24 is an efficient collaboration platform that empowers our staff to work efficiently as a team, communicate and share tasks and updates with simplicity. It's used in the whole of our organization, and our staff find it intuitive, where one is able to create an activity and update their to-do list and hep them focus on executing set targets. It has brought our workforce together and this is crucial in unifying our workflow and enabling us to expand our portfolio.

  • Very expensive and takes months to deploy and setup- all to be wasted- you will leave the platform for something much better
If i could provide a lower score, I would. The company falsely advertises integrations with Quickbooks Online, it does not work. The software is a shell, meaning that the purchaser has to "create" every document and infrastructure in order for the application to even come close to working. The very thing that it appears it was designed for (CRM) fails miserably. You won't even see your deals or opportunities move to the "next stage" without some form of manual manipulation. Telephone integration does absolutely nothing other than clog up your leads with calls with zero info on them. Top all of this off with the complete lack of support (even in the paid version). They will take days to respond and then its with a canned response about going and researching the answer yourself in a pile of some of the worst help files I have seen in my more than 30 years in business. Then, finally capped by this...once you have wasted the $1000.00 for the access to the software and the countless hours and thousands of dollars to try to get it to work with just basic day to day operation....you finally decide that there are much better options available (like Salesforce) they will refuse to refund you any part of your remaining subscription. BUYER BEWARE- complete and total scam of a solution. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
The absolute worst! Your only contact method is via the paid version and via a chat window. They will take days to answer and when they finally do answer, they will provide nothing but a half baked canned help file.

All the results have been fully satisfactory when it comes to categorizing and maneuvering data of different kinds. Bitrix24 is one of the best services you can get to cover CRM, business intelligence, and even marketing operations. Its ease of connection to other services. In case of working from a Smartphone terminal, it is possible to cover all kinds of tasks. Can be used in conjunction with CRM services for more extensive diagram printouts.

Being such a multifaceted software, it is recommended to work with scenarios that require several processes to track employees if it is about reviewing their expenses or monetary operations within the company. It can also be used to deal with online stores through its bitrix24 store extension.
It is possible to communicate with Bitrix24's customer service team during most of the day, since, despite not working non-stop hours, having technical support available during working hours is enough to cover our needs in case we require immediate assistance.

Bitrix24 is essential for my entire company, all members use it from sales to project management, we manage them through this tool. It helps us to maintain full control of our marketing campaigns, prospects and negotiations, quotes, and invoices.

We were seeking a sales and marketing CRM that wasn't priced as seat based.
  • Bitrix24 did not do anything well.
  • User interface, drip campaigns, customization, CRM capabilities
  • Email integration, email signatures, social integration, lead forms
  • Setup, support, refund policy. All of these things are poor.
  • All of it is customized, so you have to hire consultants. Even with that, nothing was easy or simple.
Bitrix24 is not well suited in any situation. It's difficult to use, non-intuitive, requires extensive paid customization, doesn't support key uses cases like drip campaigns, has horrible social integration, requires months of setup and is unusable by employees.

I have been the usage of Bitrix24 for many years now... every so often for little things, a few different times only to check out and understand how the product has been changing over the time. However, I think it's a real hidden jewel for me, and I will start using it more regularly. This CRM delivers the whole thing in one package, and I will run my whole company almost entirely on it. CRM, possibilities, projects, Intranet, Workflows, phones, Unified Communications, and so forth. If this piece of software adds accounting and financials to the programs, it'd be a one-stop solution for every entrepreneur.

I suppose the most useful function I've seen on Bitrix24 is the fact that CRM strategies are genuinely customizable... True, most CRM structures permit you to customise small things like the field name, a few behaviors, and some different little stuff. However, Bitrix24 helps you to switch the whole thing healthily from single order processing to a multi-language commerce operation that is exceptionally clean, and in case you want to try distinctive angles, you could create multiple pipelines with one-of-a-kind configurations...

As I said before, I have tried Bitrix24 and more, also worked with most of the best-known ones (from Microsoft to Zoho to NoCRM,) but because I've rediscovered the new capabilities and functionalities from Bitrix24, I'm no longer looking for a new one.

Bitrix 24 is one of the most complete systems I have found out there, short of full ERP implementations like Odoo, but even then, it has something, like landing page creation, that those software packages lack. It is so feature rich it can be intimidating at first, and I find it best to implement small portions of it at one time. Also, the self-hosted version is incredibly powerful, but it is imperative to have an experience channel partner if you wish to go that route, as set up and configuration is much less intuitive. The cloud version is much easier to manage yourself (and honestly many integrations seem to work better) but at the same time, you lack a lot of the power of customization.

With Bitrix24 we use our team of partners to track leads and send orders to sales managers. Also, Bitrix24 is used in our teams to track the conversion of the peers. This allows you to monitor and analyze the quality of certain marketing tools. It is also very convenient to communicate with partners on work issues.

Improve Employee Engagement, Communicate with All Stakeholders Instantly, No Need for Multiple Applications

The Bitrix24 system is designed, first of all, for large business. This is a large multi-purpose portal, self-contained. When buying Bitmix CRM, you choose not a CRM system, but a huge portal with a huge number of features, which includes CRM-system among others.

  • Huge opportunities for customization, integration with other services. Easy search for solutions to setup questions.
  • The ability to write letters directly from the system with the help of a binding for working mail.
  • The presence of an application for Android. This helps to get access anywhere.
  • Slow interface. A lot of unnecessary features and settings that do not disable
  • One and the same need can be solved in various ways. This causes confusion in the sophistication of the work.
  • The presence of unnecessary tools in the work complicates navigation and the user's work in the system.
  • Additional functions require certain resources, but they are not used.
It is ideal for getting to know what can be in a good CRM (in terms of the number of tools) and how good CRM should not be implemented (in terms of execution). There was a feeling that good old friends develop the product in a situation of a surplus budget, but lack of healthy ideas. More precisely, the ideas of the set and realizations of the sea, but there is not enough in the team of a man who would restore order in this whole economy. Although for small projects or projects with a simple one-two running functionality, the system is good.


For the sales team, it is not convenient! Poor synchronization with 1C. Managers have to spend extra (precious) time for ordering through Bitrix24. Reporting is not correct! A convenient moment is planning. But only this kind of money is not worth it. In general, the system is not adapted for the modern Russian segment of sales and control. It slows down the work of managers. You should not spend money on Bitrix24. There are cheaper and more reliable developments for control. BITRIX24 is a big minus!

I used Bitrix24 in my department for test purposes when looking for an Intranet solution. It was used with success for internal communications, employee directory, document management, internal chat tool, shared calendar, etc.

Bitrix24 is being used as a centralized repository of information about leads, clients, competitors and as an internal social network to promote collaboration and the registration of relevant information among all the areas of the company. It became our main information system since it has a powerful searching tool that makes any consult much easier and faster. We also use the workgroups to segment the information based on areas or levels of the users.
  • The searching tool is great. It helps a lot to find registered information previously organized by company or contact.
  • The streamline feature is a great way to post information and communicate to all users or just to a part of them. It may include the segmentation based on groups (example: sales information only to salespeople).
  • Easy integration with other systems to automate marketing campaigns (example: MailChimp).
  • Easy setup on cloud version: register and start to use the software! The free version is good enough if your business is not so big or complex.
  • Sometimes the user interface is too complex in a few parts of the system. It would be great to have the chance to simplify some of them (self-configuration).
  • The permissions feature is limited. We tried to set up a specific user type (to restrict the access to CRM information) based on his own companies/contacts (something basic to a CRM) but it was not possible.
  • The features to manage deals and sales funnel are a bit complex too when compared to other cloud CRM providers. We tried to use this feature for a while but it did not fit to our needs.
I believe it suits well for small/medium companies with processes that are not too complex. The product is robust (so many different features) and I believe it is a great option for projects that demand a lot of communication, collaboration, content sharing, etc. Projects that are more oriented to sales management/CRM activities may not be totally supported depending on each process/its complexity/need of integration with other databases or systems. We never used the self-hosted version, only the cloud one.

Bitrix24 has been used for the whole organization. It (after several other tests with similar software), has been the most robust and all-inclusive project management software that we have ever had. It has solved the problem of managing tasks, creating Gantt charts, delegating tasks, incorporating documents into projects and tasks, and having software that can integrate with our other business software.
  • Easy access for ALL users within the organization.
  • Provides the ability to create subtasks, tasks, projects and provide a clear picture of progress as a result.
  • Offers integrations WITHIN Bitrix, including CRM and text messaging (sales).
  • It's user interface can use some work. Although it doesn't take as long as some other software to learn, there is still a bit of a learning curve when it comes to day to day usage.
  • Bitrix offers a lot of features. It would be nice to have those features laid out in an easier-to-read layout, versus the long list at the side of the page.
  • It's mobile app functionality is quite limited. It can be difficult to work with other team members, solely off of their mobile app.
Bitrix24 is well suited for any organization that needs a project management tool that can grow with them. I cannot stress this enough! This software works for startups and large organizations! That's important considering the learning curve, and the amount of time that it takes to set up a company-wide software. The software is set up to support all internal teams, as well as have folders/tasks specifically for dedicated teams (ie- executives, marketing, etc). The approvals process also helps managers to track each step of the way.

Bitrix24 may not be well suited for an organization that is looking for a quick-to-use, temporary project management solution. Its layout is very detailed and requires a commitment to not only learn how to use but to manage. This may not be great for someone who is looking solely for a task manager.

Bitrix24 is a great tool that we use to monitor the marketing progress for all our real estate projects in marketing departments, although it is also used in the whole company for other purposes. We monitor the number of new clients we get within a month, and are able to make decisions based on the system outcome. We also use it for internal communications with co-workers as well, as to communicate with business partners concerning our business progress.
  • For communication, it allows video conferencing, and its audio clarity is very high, hence suitable for video calls within different organizations. This improves customer relationships, which translates to more sales.
  • We use it for project management like making analysis, assigning tasks, the allocation of roles, and the progress of any project we conduct within the company.
  • Good for the segmentation of customers and leads for easy communications with emails on the system. It segments based on location and activities or needs.
  • I have a feeling that although the software is great and helps us a lot at our company, the pricing is a challenge to us, and if they could give more favorable prices it could be wonderful.
  • The Bitrix24 support team takes a lot of time to respond, and are therefore not very effective.
  • The system also has a lot of notifications that keep coming to the account. To me, this is very annoying, and if this can be fixed to only have important notifications, that would be great.
Bitrix24 is very suitable for both small organizations or companies since its pricing goes hand with the number of users, this, therefore, means that someone pays only for the service received from the system.
It is suitable for tracking the number of new clients that the company have, the prospects for easy followups, for internal communication with co-workers and team members, and it also helps track project progression.

Bitrix is being used by certain departments of our organization as our organization is very huge. It is not posible to adopt just one tool in the entire organization. Bitrix acts as a pillar for CRM. It helps engage the right data and brings intelligence to it. We can target specific and the right customers for our marketing campaigns. Bitrix does this wonderfully and has helped a lot.
  • IP-telephony - this feature is beautiful and helps collaborate and communicate better.
  • This software can be accessed anywhere on a cell phone just by having the mobile application.
  • It has project management. It has call management. It allows for creating custom fields. It has an option to self-host.
  • The free version attaches a Bitrix24 reference at the bottom of every email.
  • A couple of functions are not polished or clear enough. Doesn't have an accounting feature.
  • Not real quick or robust development but what it does it does very well.
Bitrix24 has an astonishing number of advanced services available in its free tier - basically everything except Advanced CRM and Tasks or a lot of online storage. That has to be some kind of record for a service of this type and power. The Activity Stream is among the best of its kind. The paid plans are also very reasonable considering what you get. Even though I appreciate everything there one page ready for me to use, the amount of choices can be a bit confusing. The lefthand navigation can be configured so you can hide stuff you don't need. The design looks out of style so the UI could use an upgrade for sure.

We use Bitrix24 as the main interface between our internal team of editors and external contractors and advisors. Bitrix24 provides a platform to have project-based discussions and assign editorial/production tasks to the entire team. It operates like a Facebook type interface where comments are attached to a discussion idea or project. It eliminates about 90% of emails and email chains (cc's etc).

  • Interface - it currently *feels* amateur; I am sure that it's not, but the lack of customisation means that we can't improve it.
  • Time Reporting - time entries can only be logged in real-time, not post-hoc.
We use Bitrix24 to manage our publication projects. We currently have about 15 employees/contractors/stakeholders working towards 30 projects at any one time, Bitrix24 gives us an integrated workspace for discussion. As the manager, I can assign projects and tasks to users, and get an overview of their workload. It also gives me a good overview of the work programme.

Bitrix24 is being used by our organization for the general purpose and work related communication. It is being used across the whole organization and every employee of the company get the login details for the same. Bitrix24 helps us for communication between the employees related to work queries, business meetings, schedule, task allocation, file sharing, documents sharing, image sharing, etc. It connects all employees of the company present in different geographic locations. We get all our business tasks, meetings schedules, client information, and contact details all are in one platform i.e. on Bitrix24. Every day of work starts with bitrix24 and ends with bitrix24.
  • Bitrix24 is not only a chatting and communication platform. It does lots of activities for us to communicate with peers in best way which helps to get done our work activities done properly on time and as per schedule. For example, if there is a meeting scheduled on a particular date, we used to get the notification on that day once we login. Also we get a notification about who is going to attend and what the agenda of the meeting will be. The best thing is that all these activies are very user user friendly in bitrix24. You can easily understand it what's going on there.
  • Bitrix24 is very simple and understandable. The user interface of the bitrix 24 is damn good looking and appealing. The Update has various option to upload. You can upload any particular file for selected users. Task allocation bar also has various options. It tracks your task activities and keeps updates on it to the allocator. You can close the task by clicking on task completion button, hence the task allocator will automatically get notified that task is completed.
  • The another best thing of the bitrix24 is general update bar. Every employee can share their updates and task completion success on that. For example, in our organization if any campaign or project is successfully done then person related to that project to share his success with all, and also share his new findings and how they completed this by overcoming the challenges. That feature of bitrix24 is very unique. Even our organization director shares general updates and success milestones of the company on this bar.
  • You can make groups of particular teams or departments to interact with similar job roles of employees, where you can communicate all your project related queries and tasks with your peers.
  • In short bitrix24 has reduced the various emailing work within our organization.You don't have to wait for the email for work. You can ping a particular person and get your work done over the system. It is very useful in various small and big updates as well.
  • Bitrix24 also provides audio/video communication which is also helpful when communicating with senior managers to get better understanding and to solve various business problems.
  • In spite of various good features of bitrix24, it has room of various improvement also. Bitrix24 has various crash reports in our organization which makes birtix24 annoying. Sometimes the downtime is more than 5 hours, which makes bitrix24 poor on the technical side. This means you cannot depend on bitrix24 for your work; you have to maintain a back up plan for it.
  • You cannot connect various other applications in bitrix24. It supports very few applications. [For example] Grammarly works poorly in bitrix24.
Bitrix24 is overall is very good and has various good features also. But the best scenarios where bitrix24 is well suited is small team work sharing communication. You can make a small group of particular 10-20 employees of your project team or departmental team where you can communicate in a better way and do your work effectively, which saves time and cost of the work. Here in small groups the dependancies of work are small and less risk is there. But if you want to go use birtix24 for the whole organization with full function then more risk gets associated with it.
