Overall Satisfaction with Celonis
I am a part of integrating Celonis into our outbound supply chain for the US petcare business. Our use cases address FTR for order management, avoiding late delivery penalties, improving LCCs, and getting a three-way match process set up to ensure that the order price matches the invoice price. We are implementing Celonis within our Order-To-Cash process
to improve labor productivity and find working capital opportunities. With
Celonis we can focus on specific areas important to us as a business namely -
order processing, on-time delivery, and throughput time between specific
activities.

- The team is incredible at integrating background tables, and building out the real-life processes end users are going through so that opportunities can be quickly identified. They continually persevere and are willing to bring in new data sets to make the platform as productive as possible.
- The team continually challenges our internal business processes and setups to ensure that we are hunting for opportunities and pushing the limits of what we thought was possible for improving our operations
- The X-ray view within the process explorer and the variant explorer provides a transparent overview of the order to cash process which we did not have previously
- OLAP tables and different dimensions to slice the data with [helping] us find the root cause of the improvement opportunity that we want to focus on
- Execution instruments like Action Flow help us take advantage of any insights provided to us within the process explorer
- Dashboard views of specific KPIs help us build and export management reports with ease
- Wish there was a way to copy business logic from one workspace to another
- Need to be clearer about how to deploy machine learning capabilities
- Need to build end to end views
- Celonis thus far (and I do not anticipate anything changing) has not had a negative impact on our business. It has challenged us to think differently about what is possible and jumpstarted process improvement aimed at saving both money and time while improving the morale of our end users. Celonis has also provided us with enough data to be to develop targeted business objectives on system usage and timeliness which without them was nearly impossible to measure let alone act upon
- Better order processing (quicker, more system driven, and saves money)
- Reduction in throughput time (our order fulfillment time has improved and our order processing time has decreased)
- Finds and acts on automation opportunities
- Can find large dollar value opportunities for process improvement
- Can find data driven recommendations for executive interactions
The only other tools available to measure what Celonis can, my business has implemented is power BI. However this is just a reporting tool, and it can be hard to drive actions against improving metrics. Celonis is not just a reporting tool (although it has that functionality), it is a tool that drives change and end-user engagement through proactive means. Now we are able to act ahead of time to impact metrics, rather than having to retroactively problem solve and implement changes.
Digital transformation is aided by Celonis as it provided us
with data on our business process that we did not have previously, and it also
enabled us to quantify some of the things that we knew intuitively. We were
able to use the process explorer quite a bit to identify improvement
opportunities and this has proven to be very helpful to our digital
transformation initiatives internally. Celonis has driven us to be more automated and proactive in our order management and AR processes. Increasing the automation and visibility we have to the inner working of our systems and end-user productivity has allowed us to target improvements that are quick wins, as well as medium to long-term goals and updates.
