Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect

Entire company uses it for secure VPN login.

  • Remote access.
  • Login is quick, easy, [and] secure.
  • Really not much negative feedback on the product, pretty simple, straightforward.
  • Minimize downtime, we had 1 or 2 major outages in 2020.
  • Prioritize server connection based on fastest available speeds.
  • It allows our team to access programs/data on our company network.
  • Remote personnel has quick, easy access.
Not much to say about the usability from my perspective. There is a simple login screen, and once I'm signed in I don't have to think about it again until I reboot my computer or sign out. If there is a mobile application for IOS devices, I suppose that would be very helpful.
Our company has definitely benefited from the added security. At a time when cyber security has become increasingly important, our teams feel safe in using AnyConnect and knowing that our information remains private and protected from unauthorized users or attacks. This is really the main reason we use this product.
The amount of contact I have had with Cisco support has been very limited since I am not in the IT department, but every support case I have created has been addressed quickly and in a satisfactory manner. It would be good to know if there are specific issues that users can troubleshoot without contacting support though.
I have used a number of VPNs, TunnelBear, NordVPN, but Cisco AnyConnect is really the primary product that I have experience with at the organization level. From what I have seen, this product is much more equipped to offer services as a company-wide solution rather than some of those other products that are more focused around personal use.
I'm really only giving it an 8 because I only use this product in a limited capacity. I log in to the VPN and connect to our company network, then go about my normal workday. I really do not have a lot of other examples of how this product is used.
