Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Umbrella

We have employed Cisco Umbrella as a perimeter defence system for our network, by checking through the DNS layer for any malicious links and unauthorised websites, Umbrella serves as a great first line of defence for our systems internally through an MX device and externally on individual devices through roaming clients.

Umbrella does the job perfectly, it never misses a beat. The best thing is about blocking unauthorised sites in which you just need to set up the categories to be blocked and umbrella does the rest. This has allowed the IT department to save countless hours manually adding to the list.
We have integrated Umbrella with Meraki MX series security appliance. The way it works is that it keeps the internal team and all on premises computers protected through creating a outward facing firewall and safeguarding the company assets from outside threats.
We have never really contacted support as the product is very intuitive and we did not need much help.
Cisco Umbrella is best suited for all commercial offices where the security of internal & external users is of paramount importance. It is easy to deploy and can work very well even in branch offices without much onsite hardware. Umbrella's cloud managed firewall works wonders in terms of blocking applications and websites that have not been authorised by the company IT department.
