Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Webex in many departments. We are very addicted to Webex these days when we work from home. We hold a Webex meeting on even the slightest issue. It is very good to be able to connect to the same meeting from different platforms very quickly and to be able to use all their abilities without any problems.

It is not related to the operation of Webex, but I'd like to be able to share the URL or IP addresses required to access Webex in a more adequate way. In places where it is difficult to define URL access, IP access privileges may not be enough

Alternatives Considered

Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and Microsoft Teams

The remote control feature of Skype or Microsoft Teams is not good enough. In addition, because there are not many users in other companies we work using Microsoft Teams or Skype, they spend time connecting for the first time which results in late meetings or inability to connect. Webex is a much more common and popular product.

Support Rating

We are using the cloud version and we did not have any big problems. Even this shows that Cisco gives good support.

Reliability and Availability

Thanks to the regional redundancy of cisco webex, we did not experience any interruptions or problems.

Usability

Being a very common and simple product provides a great advantage. There may be problems with issues such as whether to use it for the browser or by installing the webex application on the computer. However, installation instructions and automatic prompts are sufficient. Supporting mac and windows operating system increases its usability.

Likelihood to Recommend

We are an IT company with about 700 people working at home (instead of offices). During the pandemic, Webex literally became our most important tool and helper.

We can hold meetings very quickly. Generally, we don't send meeting invitations to people, people are entering people's meeting room via their static room links. Recording features are also well-suited for us. We can record and share internal trainings or workshops.
