Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Teams

We use Cisco Webex Teams every day, mainly sales, administration, and management teams. We use it also outside our organisation to communicate with some other organizations (suppliers, customers, etc...). We were already using Cisco Webex Teams a lot before COVID. The situation simply accelerated the transition to increased our usage.

Pros

  • Easy collaboration
  • Collaboration even outside the organization
  • Screen capture, editing, whiteboarding functions
  • Bots integrations

Cons

  • Impossible to simply copy/paste an attachment
  • A lot of confusion between use of Teams/Jabber/Meetings
  • Avoid numerous meetings by using project spaces instead.
  • Webex Teams is included in our UC suite so, great ROI so far.
I know a lot of other similar products but I didn't use any of them. So I can't really compare how Webex Teams stacks up against them. Microsoft Teams, Slack, Hangout, etc... What I can say is, Webex Teams is greatly integrated in Cisco Unified communication experience. You can easily switch from a collab space, to a meeting, to a whiteboard, to a videoconference room, etc... Easy to use.
We rarely had to use it, but Cisco Webex Teams has several dedicated support teams to help with different topics—licensing, onboarding, troubleshoot, etc. Almost anything can be accomplished directly from the Webex Control Hub (cloud management console), so the problems, when they exist, can be easily dealt with internally. Also, there are updates on a regular basis, which are really easy to proceed (one button => auto-update)

This collaboration tool is really easy to use. It works on all platforms (PC, MAC, IOS, mobile, tablets, etc...) and seamlessly on everything. There is no learning curve because the operation is very intuitive.
Webex Teams is not really a stand alone tool. It's a very great add-on for already Cisco UC customers. Those companies will benefit from an excellent collaboration tool to complement their telephony and / or video conferencing solutions. People using jabber should now migrate to Webex Teams because it is much more user-friendly, more comprehensive, and more enjoyable to use.
