Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

Cision is being used by our PR and Digital department within our cleantech, mobility and real estate practice. We leverage Cision to help us find media contacts, however, a lot of the information is outdated.
  • Research of size of journalists

  • Good enterprise marketing management
  • Media outlets and journalist information is outdated.
  • Not enough data for reporting.
  • User interface could be cleaner and easier to navigate.
  • Our clients like the reporting tools, however, not all are able to opt-in due to the higher costs.
We've used Gorkana in the past, however, it was acquired by Cision. We've also used Meltwater which has a lot of Cision's core capabilities but at a lower price point.
Cision's response time is lagging and could be improved.

Working in PR, Cision works well when it comes to sourcing media lists and looking up information for media briefs. On the reporting side, it allows us to track and monitor all media hits.
