Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control
We're a very small IT support company with several small clients. We use ConnectWise to assist our clients remotely throughout North America. We also use ConnectWise to manage client servers from time to time. The toolbox feature is useful for running software on remote computers. We have used the meeting feature a few times also, and it's pretty handy. We have some sessions saved for frequent use, but the "join with a code" feature is what we use most often these days.
Pros
- It's easy to use, not only for us but for our clients.
- It's affordable. We're a tiny company and can't justify the cost for some of the other tools on the market. It's also scalable, so we have options for larger packages as we grow.
- It's web based. No installers or setup is required.
Cons
- Some of my previous criticisms have already been addressed. I really don't have any complaints about the service now.
- I would hope that the cost of the software does not increase. There is a lot of competition, and with technological advancement, a product shouldn't get more expensive.
- I also hope the software remains simple. The small changes that have been implemented are good, and have improved ease of use. It doesn't need to be over-complicated.
- We like ConnectWise for the lowest priced package because it's much cheaper than competing software. We don't need a lot of the features of the more expensive packages, so it's perfect for us.
- The main feature that saves us time is the ability to have saved sessions for quick access to frequently used sessions. It's saves us time.
- It's also pretty quick and easy to get clients connected when they need help.
We've used TeamViewer a bit, but the prices are expensive and a lot of the features are unnecessary. I also didn't like that we needed software that was turned on, set to startup automatically. That it required installation and licenses on the client end was frustrating. I only use TeamViewer now for free personal use at home, but even so, I prefer ConnectWise.
