Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
We currently use ConnecWise for remote support, and at times IT related meetings/screen sharing.
- Ability to remote access/control a machine with minimal installation.
- Cloud-Based no software to install/maintain.
- Includes meeting capabilities at no at no additional cost.
- UI is a bit sloppy in my opinion. Could use a coat of paint.
- Doesn't always play nice with ForcePoint Websense likely related to SSL decryption that happens with our web filtering software.
- Increased efficiency for support staff. Easily connect to machines used by road warriors in the organization to troubleshoot issues.
- Minimal installation of software required. Making quick issue resolution efficient.
- Cost savings compared to GoToMeeting, WebEx, etc.
I don't believe ConnectWise is as mature or flexible as the aforementioned services, however the price makes up for it. I have had issues with Mac users however, and that I haven't compared across services.
