Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

I’m the owner of a small MSP and we use Connectwise Control to support our clients. It is an integral part of our business and is used daily.
  • I’ve used several remote access tools and ConnectWise Control is the most stable.
  • It is extremely versatile and flexible. Add-on scripts give it some basic RMM functionality for free.
  • Ad-hoc sessions are amazingly simple to set up and I love that they can be converted to a permanent client install with a single click.
  • While the search function is good for locating a remote client it would be great to have the ability to group access clients.
  • It would be great to have the option to automate access client updates.
  • The option for delegated access to individual clients would be great.
  • I wouldn’t be able to get by without it.
  • Remot support is far easier with Control then other tools I’ve used
Connectwise was more cost effective then LogMeIn which was my original reason for switching. However now that I’ve switched I find it to be a far better remote access tool.
For MSPs I think it’s the best option out there. For in-house IT support it’s also a good option. For a home user or for a small handful of endpoints and basic remote access needs there are probably better options.
