Overall Satisfaction with Consensus

I use Consensus to peak the customer's interest prior to a discovery call. To reengage with a customer after a demo. To identify additional stakeholders when the video is shared internally. The use case videos are easily integrated into the corporate email system via a plugin to minimized the impact on the existing sales process.

Pros

  • Email alerts when customers view the videos
  • Analytics on what segments of the video was viewed
  • Additional viewers that the initial contact might have shared it with

Cons

  • All the videos to be mailed to several customers at the same time.
  • Accelerates the sales process
  • Helps close a sales when additional use cases need to be shown
  • Helps identify additional stakeholders that may be needed for closing the deal.
Easy plug-in available to Microsoft Outlook which allows the sales team to use the demo use cases library without logging into the Consensus graphical user interface.

Allows the sales reps to be more self sufficient and utilize the demo use case library without engaging the pre-sales consultant's time. Helps keep a central library of use cases that can might be worked on by several users for the benefit of the whole company.
