Overall Satisfaction with DemandTools

Currently, the Revenue Operations team uses Demand Tools. We use it mostly for data imports and exports. The ability to merge values with existing values already in Salesforce is a lifesaver. Without this tool, performing data imports would take 100x longer.

Pros

  • Merge new values with existing values already in Salesforce.
  • Finds the SF ID when given match criteria.
  • Generates restore file prior to importing new data.

Cons

  • The UI is a bit slow and clunky.
  • Native Mac functionality.
  • Huge ROI, again, being able to merge data is extremely useful!
I have only used Salesforce's Dataloader.
Merging new data with existing data. We have quite a few multi-select picklist fields in our Salesforce instance that need to be updated regularly. Being able to merge new data with existing data is extremely helpful. In fact, I just recommended Demand Tools to another user yesterday for this reason!
