Overall Satisfaction with DocuSign
We used DocuSign as an integral part of our accounting department's journal entry and account reconciliation processes. We implemented DocuSign as part of an effort to allow our team to work remotely, comply with SOX documentation requirements, and reduce our reliance on paper within our accounting department. Entries and Reconciliations were submitted to the reviewer via DocuSign and the review was completed within the DocuSign envelope.
- Files are retained within each user's account for excellent data retention.
- Files are date and time stamped to show when the review was completed.
- Workflows and routing systems are easily created - no more shuffling papers across desks.
- Only limited review notes can be added to a DocuSign Envelope.
- Workflows/review orders cannot be saved as a default.
- Reviewing complex files is easier on paper than on a computer within DocuSign
- Reduces printing costs.
- Enables a remote workforce - reducing necessary office footprint.
- Reduced need for paper file storage in the office.

DocuSign Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was minimal - We had a group of users at all levels develop and test our process before rolling out DocuSign to review and approve journal entries and reconciliations. We hosted a training for all new users and had one person as a point of contact for questions about how to use the software.
We made a clean switch from paper to DocuSign and never looked back.

This product is very intuitive and easy to learn on your own. There is a very thorough guide available online to answer questions about how to use the system.

Yes - Mobile interface is great when you already know what you are looking at. I would not suggest using the mobile interface when attempting to review a contract.
The mobile UI allows you to generate your own signature by signing on the screen of the device and is easy to click through signature areas.
