Overall Satisfaction with DocuSign
DocuSign was used to send electronic signatures for all of our contracts sent out from our contracts department. We were having issues with slow responses from customers when signing contracts and their biggest complaint was that they had to print it, sign it and scan it to get it back to us. Our goal was to automate this process for them so contracts were signed in a more timely manner and so we could automate reminders to our own executives when they were pending their signatures.
- Allows for easy customization of who to send signatures and approvals to.
- Great templates to streamline the contracts process and so we didn't have to rely on people to set up who to route the signatures to.
- It was an easy and straight forward signature process for the end users.
- Customizing some of the views, we didn't want to dig into the XML to change the layout of some of the notifications.
- Getting even more flexible with customizations on when to send for signature and to whom along with approvals and approval groups and reminders.
- We saw an decrease the the amount of time it took for both our customers and executives to sign documents and return them to us.
- We had less issues with incorrect documents being sent because of templates and approvals put in place.
- Adobe EchoSign
We actually started with Adobe EchoSign and it did not work for us at all. When we were in the sales process they said it could do everything we were asking and showed us some of it but just stated it could do other things (our bad on not making them show us those things as well). We quickly found out it could not handle a lot of the customizations we were looking for in regards of when and who to send to and for approvals.
