Overall Satisfaction with DocuSign

We use Docusign to have a better online mortgage process for our customers. It is also beneficial for our internal departments so they can get critical documentation signed ASAP to keep the process moving forward and at a faster pace. These electronically signed documents are also beneficial for our compliance department.
  • Secure, digitally signed, tamper proof electronic documents.
  • Easy to track who, when, and where a document was signed.
  • Easy implementation into our internal IT application structure.
  • Excellent flexibility on branding and setting up documents.
  • Having to adopt/choose your signature each time you sign a document is a bit annoying for users.
  • Docusign has saved us money on printing and mailing documents. In many cases when customers opt to e-sign, we don't have to sign.
  • Docusign has saved us a few days in the overall process of day to day business.
There were a few other products I looked at but by comparison, they didn't stack up to what Docusign could offer. The biggest selling points for me were the ease of implementation into our infrastructure and the flexibility they offered for reporting and sending us live data as we needed to keep our process moving smoothly. Also, the customer support and integration teams are so nice and helpful at Docusign, they ensured we had a smooth process.
Docusign is a great product for us because it has been very flexible with the integration process into our own apps. We are able to customize the look and feel of how the borrower sees and uses it. The benefit for us is we set up a service where Docusign can send us live information about document signing so we can react quickly and keep the process moving fast and efficiently for our customers. I have not come across a scenario where this doesn't make sense. In its simplest form, this is an easy way to perform a secure, trusted, remote signing when you can't be face to face with your customer.

DocuSign Support

I'd give them a 10, but there has been 1 or 2 small cases that seemed to fall to the wayside, but I was able to call them up and get them resolved. We were having a bad implementation night (after midnight) and we needed assistance from Docusign. They were able to get an engineer to help us in the early morning hours.

Yes - In the long run this pays off because you get help right away, it is typically from a very knowledgeable engineer. Time is money in our business and the more time that goes by if we are having an issue means we could be losing more in the long run.
During our initial implementation of Docusign we were running into issues. The team did their best to find and resolve the issues but there came a time (sometime after midnight) where we realized we couldn't get traction on the issue. So we engaged Docusign and they got us an engineer on the phone that was able to help us out quickly. We just wish we would have called much sooner. Lesson learned!
