Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I use Dropbox to save documents to files that are easily accessible to my colleagues and my clients. It helps us to not have to email documents back and forth to one another and also centralizes our important and shareable documents. Dropbox is also installed on my desktop so that I can quickly and easily save documents in the correct place the first time.
Pros
- Storing documents
- Desktop capacity
- Ability to manage access to the folders
Cons
- I think that there should be a simpler way to move documents/files
- There are lags sometimes but not often enough to be a huge issue
- The copying function could also be improved
- Easier communication
- Time savings
- More efficient and effective collaboration
- Box and Google Drive
Box is even glitchier with more difficult saving, naming and moving mechanics. They don’t really look a whole lot different but in terms of performance you can tell the difference. Google Drive encourages you to use sheets and their other products which don’t really compare to Microsoft. Excel isn’t perfect but it’s leagues better than Google sheets.
