Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox as the central place to store all documents for our company where each department can access them and search for other documents they may need provided by other departments. We mostly keep Dropbox in the cloud and sync to our computers as our company has a lot of documents. Using Dropbox frees up space on our computers and allows us to easily access documents from anyone in the company.
Pros
- Saving computer space
- Using different types of docs ( I prefer Google Docs which you can make on Dropbox)
- Seamless syncing
Cons
- Help with cleaning up old documents
- Better functionally for viewing different types of docs
- Clearer instructions on syncing to computer when setting up
- Better collaboration
- Easier new employee set up
- Easier user management
Similar but Dropbox was simpler to understand and easier to control. It also doesn't lock you in to one type of document and works decently well with all sorts of different document types.
