Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I primarily use for file backup, remote access to files, and file sharing. This helps me complete a variety of business tasks on different devices and share files that I regularly update without having to repeatedly upload or share as an attachment. Backup also means I never have to worry about losing important files (even when my cat walks across a keyboard).

Usability

Almost everything is very intuitive and easy to use. The only thing I find a little more tedious is the ability to receive files from other people into a specific folder. I would prefer to be able to do that at the folder level rather than through the current method.

Alternatives Considered

SugarSync

SugarSync dropped compatibility for my OS without notice and no alternative to access/update my file updates. When I complained, I wasn't satisfied with their response so I changed services. I have been much happier with Dropbox as the overall compatibility, ease of use, and features are better.

My main uses of file backup, remote access, and file sharing all work really well and I use them frequently. I once had an issue where I needed to use file recovery for many files (my cat somehow deleted many files!) and I was extremely grateful that I could recover everything. I also appreciate that Dropbox is compatible with various operating systems as well as the ability to update/upload/download files through a web browser or the app.
