Druva inSync - the backup solution you need.
Overall Satisfaction with Druva Cloud Platform
We're using Druva inSync across our entire organization. For us, it addresses the need for an endpoint backup solution in the days of remote work. With employees distributed across the US, we were in need of an endpoint backup solution that would allow us to retain data while reducing hardware costs, storage costs, and bandwidth in user homes.
Pros
- Endpoint backup
- Ease of use
- Easy restorral
- Unlimited storage options
Cons
- Docker/Hypervisor backups
- Auto-update capabilities
- Google Authentication implementation is poor
- Better identification of what is/isn't being backed up at a folder level
- Reduction in time to data restore for users who have a computing incident
- Set it and forget it
- Touch-less restoral options, allowing IT personel to focus on other areas of work that need attention
- Acronis Cyber Backup, MSP360 Backup (formerly CloudBerry Backup), Carbonite Endpoint, Metallic Endpoint Backup & Recovery and IDrive
Overall, Druva inSync was the best fit for us, since we needed an endpoint backup that was easy to use, didn't require technicians to touch the device, and allowed for incremental backups. We would have liked an imaging option, but Acronis' imaging option required touching the computer, which we didn't always have the option to. We had demoed Acronis, MSP, and Metallic, and found that this was much easier both on the implementation side of things, but the restoral side of things as well. Also, their unlimited option was much better priced than others.
