Overall Satisfaction with EverString

EverString is being utilized cross-departmentally for Sales and Marketing to enrich our account data. It solves for issues around incorrect data at an account-level, and for the time spent manually refreshing the data as a rep.
  • Easily integrates into Salesforce and pushes data in.
  • Customer support is readily available
  • There are dozens of different data points that EverString touches on
  • The revenue ranges are very wrong, and oftentimes completely wrong for even large enterprise organizations. Oftentimes EverString will pull an individual retail store, or bank (as an example) and use that as the revenue range for the account. As an example, ExxonMobile has a revenue range of $0-$1M according to Everstring because it pulls data from a single gas station.
  • The ESIntent scores don't track historically over time
  • There's no contact-level information
We can easily find the account intelligence of EverString, as it pushes directly into Salesforce. Training was straightforward due to our direct integration with Salesforce and the general ease-of-use of the EverString website. We received some training around best practices, how EverString updates its ESIntent, and how it incorporates information.
I am not at all satisfied with EverString's ability to identify these accounts.
Since EverString has a direct integration with Salesforce, it's rather easy for us to identify net new accounts.
EverString hasn't really done that much to help an ABM strategy. If you're doing a true ABM strategy, you'd be doing the research yourself and finding out relevant information. There are many instances in which EverString is wrong about important indicators (e.g. technologies used,) and where it's flat out wrong (e.g. revenue.) So for that reason alone, I wouldn't recommend EverString.
EverString has barely made an impact on our sales velocity; it flat out isn't that useful to us as individual reps. I'm unhappy with the tool and wish we could find a replacement for it. The "functionality" it promises just doesn't work and because of that I'm hesitant to trust any of its information.
I personally would never have chosen EverString had I been a part of the decisionmaking process. Clearbit is a much better platform for the same type of information, and Hoovers has more accurate account-level information.
Well Suited - EverString is useful if you're looking to mass enrich tens of thousands of accounts all at once with specific data points (Technology used, industry, etc...)

Not well suited - If you're looking to mass enrich your accounts with actionable data like contacts and their direct information. You'll still need another tool to have this functionality.

Overall I wouldn't recommend EverString, as an individual rep it doesn't do anything valuable for me.
