Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong to record demos and discovery calls and gain insight into our sales activities. Being a remote sales team, Gong allows us insight into the entire sales organization. Managers use Gong to review calls and offer suggestions. Team members use Gong to pick up best techniques from other teammates.

Gong was very easy to implement and start using. The account management team did a fantastic job at the beginning of our relationship. Once everything was implemented, we have not had an issue with tech support. I give Gong a lot of credit for ease of use and implementation. The navigation is simple and straightforward. I wish there were some more robust reporting/functionality.
The AI Insights have proven somewhat helpful and interesting. I wouldn't say these insights are groundbreaking revelations, though. Basic analysis like talk ratio and pauses are tracked, which is helpful but should be considered basic functionality. The transcription functionality is probably the best I have ever experienced, but it is still not perfect.

Gong is very well suited for reviewing demos and discovery calls. This is the strongest aspect of the product. The platform joins calls with reasonable successes for future review. Very easy to share with the team.

I have found it a little difficult to gain macro-level insight into their reporting. It might be the qualitative nature of the data, but such reporting is better suited for Salesforce
