Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We record prospecting and sales calls. We use Gong also for reminders and integrate it with Salesforce, Outreach, Dialpad, ZoomInfo, and our full suite of the sales stack. We analyze keywords, use transcripts, and analyze speaker volume (who is most outspoken). We use Gong to track our own calls and coach/manage our subordinates
  • call recording
  • speaking volume
  • email reminders
  • The transcript is a great feature, but the text recognition leaves much room for improvement
  • Not sure why some calls record and others do not
  • snippets for external share are a bit difficult to trim,
  • increases pipeline by helping me remember and review call nuances
  • being able to share snippets enables managerial review of calls they were unable to attend
  • positive as it eliminates guesswork as to "did they or didn't they say X?"
it is a very useful piece of software. without any special training, I am able to use it to review calls, review transcripts, and see how call performance is tracked. Email reminders are typically useful and timely. The ability to snip and edit comes in very handy. Transcripts in particular are handy as they can be read anywhere.
yes, the software manages to identify passive language, it identifies commitments and action items that require follow-up. Each of these is invaluable to sales. Nudges are useful as well, to keep deals going when momentum is at risk of slowing. The pipeline analysis often comes in handy as well.

recording Zoom voice, video, and screen shares. sharing snippets of calls externally, tracking who spoke most, least, etc. it is very good for sales processes ... probably less useful for prospecting with so many dead-end calls going to voice-mail Gong is also well suited for internal conferences, and really, anytime there is a need for call recording to be reviewed later
