Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong for recording client meetings and sending them to clients. We generate meeting minutes and key next steps from the recordings, query the recordings to get key information about the meetings, send the users the 'Share with customers' URL, and analyze how many of the users have watched the meeting.

Pros

  • Transcribing the meeting. Audio to text.
  • Creating meeting summaries that include key follow-up points.
  • AI for a user to query the meeting to get key information.
  • Breaking down the meeting by the speaker for ease of search and navigating through the meeting.

Cons

  • If you forgot to add Gong to your meeting, the Gong bot will take a while (a minute or so) to be added. This might lead to you losing some time for the meeting recording.
  • A quicker way to get the 'Share with customer' URL. I often have to go through a few clicks before getting it.
  • This has been a great tool for sharing meeting recordings, minutes, and key next steps with clients.
  • It has saved me time as a project manager.
  • It has improved my productivity in managing meetings by at least 30%.
It is straightforward to use. It has such a good UI, and the UX is also top-notch.
Yes, it has. I can copy and paste the AI insights with minimum edits.

It is well suited for cases where you must comprehensively record all the meeting information. Gong breaks it down comprehensively: showing the speaker, transcribing what was said, presenting summaries, and showing key action points. You can also use AI to ask Gong questions about the meeting; the answers are usually spot-on.
