Overall Satisfaction with Gong

At first, I only used Gong to listen back to my meetings to make sure I didn't miss any critical points on the notes I took during the conference. However, after I learned to use its AI features, I saved a lot of time by reading the transcript and searching for specific words on it. I also use the generated recaps it provides to write an email recapitulating the meeting to my clients.

Pros

  • Quality playback of meetings.
  • Transcript of meeting.
  • The meeting recaps it generates.

Cons

  • Keep improving their AI.
  • Thanks to Gong, generating meeting recap emails for my meetings takes me over 50% less time.
The UI is very well designed and very intuitive indeed.
As you can see from my previous responses, it has positively affected my work.
No, this does not apply in my position.
We were lucky that we found Gong when we did, we didn't have a product for this either and 1st time was the charm.

I lost my notes after a meeting, so I used Gong to check the notes it generated and listen back to certain portions of the meeting playback. I see no downsides to Gong, so I can't think of any scenarios in which it's inappropriate.

Using Gong

150 - Administrative type staff with direct contact with our customers.
25 - Since it's so easy to use, anyone can pick it up very quickly, so I don't think they need any type of requirement.
  • Recap of client calls
  • Meeting note taker
  • Training tool (To review calls and give feedback to our staff)
  • To use all of their features to quickly get a list of the points addressed during the meeting
  • To use all of their features to quickly get a list of the objectives after the meeting
  • Implement it more as a training tool to rewatch calls with clients
It's worth every penny
