call recording/transcribing, note taking
Pros
- automated call transcription
- automated call summaries & key points
Cons
- recognizing internal small talk at the beginning of the call before the client joins is not necessary to record or include in summaries
- when i join a meeting from my conference room, the transcription and summaries refer to me by the conference room name and not my name. when there are multiple people in my conference room, it cannot detect different voices to better track who talked the most/least on a call.
- automating manual tasks like note taking
- better accuracy recalling important points that I may have missed
after a call with a clinet i am required to update the notes in our crm. With Gong, I can just wait for the call to render and copy and paste the notes in, which often include more of the technical details that i may have missed.
- Zoom Events & Webinars
Gong is more like a personal assistant and provides helpful insights that zoom doesn't. zoom is more for the call recording and and presentation on the call.
