Gong is used to analyze pain points heard during a sales call, uncover competitor insights from people looking to switch products, learn information about different industries, and discover sentiment on the customer success side of things - from beta feature testing to contract renewals.
Pros
- Create a searchable index of client facing communications
- Finds details and pain points from our audience
- Uncovers case study candidate opportunities
Cons
- UX: items take long to load, searching pops up the last recent result oftentimes instead of what you type in, snippet/share quotes menu is a bit glitchy.
- UI: overlaying account overviews from a call recording page is a bit confusing, and only a small amount of information is shown on the screen.
- Made collecting information smooth and easy
Gong’s AI features have allowed us to quickly identify crucial areas of conversations at scale. Knowing where and when things are mentioned makes our work more valuable, and our jobs easier.
