Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We now have a centralised space that not just stores all calls, but also gives intelligent summaries and lists next steps from the calls. This eases friction during Sales-CS handovers, and more importantly, an objective notetaker that I can come back to anytime.

Pros

  • Gong gives concise and objective summaries of customer calls fast.
  • Gong precisely analyses a call and generates transcriptions and differentiates the speakers for the whole call.
  • When Gong is asked something about a call or company, Gong gives good answers, which helps me confirm my memory and take action faster.

Cons

  • Ability to be automatically added to MS Teams Calls
  • In CS, Gong really saves our time by giving intelligent summaries of our customer calls. Gong brings gives us our time back to focus on the strategic side of the business.
  • Gong gives our entire organisation a single space of truth regarding our conversations - handovers have less friction and there is an objective space to look into for more context. Transparency and trust!
  • Gong's link-sharing is very convenient and easy to use. I can easily embed my Gong calls and share it with my customers with no problems at all. I really love how I can just choose snippets of my call to share.
Gong is really successful in playing its part of being a work companion - it's your trusty notetaker. At a glance, you can review what went on during your calls. I really appreciate how there is always a Next Steps part in the call analysis, it really helps me confirm what I need to do after the call without relying solely on my memory.
Gong provides accurate call information which I really love and depend on so much. I go to the Gong platform after the call is analysed and I can see the call summarised in an accurate, intelligent way. Each bullet also has a link to the transcript where it got the information, so if anytime I wanted to check what was said in the call, not only do I have a record of it and have the actual transcription, but also a summary of what was said in that part of the call.
In CS, I use Gong to track my performance - how I'm presenting myself to our customers, how they react to how I position statements. I use the voice differentiation that shows directly in the call duration navigation to figure out if I'm speaking too much or speaking too less. Link-sharing internally has never been this easy, we use our Gong recordings for call coaching too.
