Overall Satisfaction with Gong
Gong is a literal God send as it allows me to "be in the moment" whether I'm leading or participating in a business call with customers. The recording and the associated transcript allows me to go back and review the full context of the discussion, and zoom in on assigned action items for effective follow-up.
Pros
- Transcripts are key-word searchable
- Transcripts are pretty accurate
- Being able to specifically navigate to a specific minute marker in a call makes me more efficient
Cons
- Inaccuracies sometimes occur when capturing particular statements
- Probably saves me 2-3 hours per week by not having to manually structure and send meeting minutes
The meeting summaries tend to be pretty comprehensive and Gong does a good job conveying sentiment and context of the discussions in a clear and concise manner
I wouldn't necessarily say that it helps me build insights into trends with my customers on what's happening in their markets.
