Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

We use Gong as a recording software for our sales teams and individuals so that they can go and reflect on calls, collaborate with each other about calls, and track and learn best practices through Gongs AI. This helps with our collaborative environment to help drive results and an open coaching platform.
  • Call tracking abilities.
  • Call scoring.
  • Collaboration capabilities.
  • Knowing the industry of the customer using the product.
  • Notification preferences in Gong.
  • The login page and UI seems very immature and childish.
  • Confidence in leaders due to reps feeling micromanaged with being recorded.
  • Has helped deliver feedback to our other BU's internally.
I had used Calabrio ONE at a different company before coming to my current role, and it was good for recording, but that was the only thing it was good at. The AI and capabilities to collaborate and drive feedback and results in Gong.io are just so much better than what I had ever experienced with Calabrio.
I have only had to interact with Gong support once, but the experience was very reassuring and easy to happen. Now our team has our own Gong team that manages the support and development of the tool internally so I would just go to them. But the one time that I did interact was very smooth and interactive.

Gong has been able to help us deliver on key words and phrases that we should avoid as well as words that we should use more frequently. At one point and time we were able to find out that if we used one key word in our conversations with customers, that our closing rate would rise by 12% and we could have only figured this out by using Gong.
