Overall Satisfaction with GoodData

we used to be a reseller of GoodData. Additionally, we used the platform for both internal and customer-facing analytics focused on data consumption of their GoodData product. personally speaking, GoodData was smooth and did not represent a steep learning curve for new adopters (if compared to other products on the market).
GoodData focuses on the visualization of data from any kind of resource (Google Analytics, data warehouse, CRM, etc.). When presenting GoodData to the regular audience, who did not know it yet, I used an example of MS Excel and its Graph feature. Well, GoodData is much more effective and allows for many more resources to be plugged in.
  • Connecting the data inputs
  • Building data model
  • Easy way to design the dashboards and graphs
  • Sharing the dashboards
  • Support on the SQL command line they have built-in
  • Pricing policy
  • Not sure about a particular success...it simply works, but I never did an ROI, unfortunately
as already stated in previous answers...GoodData simply works and provides a simple platform to learn to work with. in m perspective it is easier to learn working on GoodData rather than competitive products, such as Looker, Tableau, etc. It is easy to even for business users to prepare a quick ad-hoc analysis and dashboards without any previous knowledge, which I recognize as an important feature
Quickly....however, the speed of delivery depends mainly on how complex an analytic tool you want to build on it and how many resources you want to connect. Additionally, it also depends on whether you have data that is already cleansed, processed, and so on. If not, then building a ready-to-go product may be time-consuming. But if you are switching from a different tool or starting simple, then you can be pretty fast on delivery...
not sure, as I never got into such a position and did not need such a feature. I think that all relevant points have been already given in previous answers...
Google Analytics, Salesforce, and uploading from Google Cloud. Well, Salesforce is the platform where you keep all your data. Google Analytics was the site I used during the training with the training participants....getting data from this resource is very relevant and straightforward. Google Cloud ....or the GDrive. Easy to do and especially universal resource to get data to GoodData whenever you cannot succeed importing the data original resource...

Already described before....
Simple platform, easy sharing the dashboards and simple for business users...
Whenever you have a simple data model and need to publish dashboards/data visualizations fast, GoodData is a great tool. Also when more people need to be involved, especially the business users with less competence in data science, GoodData is easy to learn working with. The only downsides I found, were related to a weird pricing policy and policy on automated upgrades to a faster backend, that is happening out of the blue without the customer's ability to influence or anticipate that. however, this may have already been fixed (my experience on that is from early 2021
