Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect
we use to make and receive calls, work remotely if needed and the ability to park calls so we can do a warm transfer to a coworker first. we also like the work flow for lunch and after hours and the ability to change the phone scheduled remotely if something comes up. also call filtering to block numbers. the app is also very nice and works great on your phone.
most people have a desk phone but i use the soft phone with a headset at my desk computer. the software is good but sometimes updates change it TOO much and make my work flow less efficient until i find a new way to use it.

Pros
- Call quality
- always online and service uptime is 99.99% of the time.
- mobile app
- administration tools are robust
Cons
- the app needs to have call parking available for remote users. you can only transfer a call, you cant pick up parked calls on the mobile app
- when the phone rings, everyone on your contact list turns RED. meaning you cant tell if someone is already on the phone or not and is available to pick up the call. that is frustrating. the point of being able to see my coworkers phone availability is so i know if i need to pick up the phone or if they are available to do so before me.
- setting up the softphone software on PC and connecting a headset was not super easy. not just a plug n play operation. i had to get GoTo Connect support to remote in and do work just to get one computer to be able to use the softphone.
- time savings, easy to use.
- easy to manage
- admin duties can be spread across employees easily.
i would agree 100% that it is all unified and so robust that we would never use all the tools but it is nice to know they are there if needed or wanted.
