Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting

GoToMeeting is our primary solution for client calls and web/video conferencing. Everyone in our agency uses the product and it is used several times a day. Our work is increasingly out of the area and GoToMeeting provides an easy way for us to conduct meetings with our clients from our office. The video aspect is being used more and more as we have upgraded our video camera in all the conference rooms and GoToMeeting allows us to see and hear and be seen and heard by our clients.

Pros

  • Web conferencing and online meetings.
  • Screen sharing by us and the client.
  • Reliable dial-in phone numbers.

Cons

  • Only one screen sharing conference call at a time. You can use the phone only at the same time, but not the screen portion.
  • Need the ability to have multiple meetings at the same time from the same account.
  • Some features for Apple computers are a little wonky at times.
  • GoToMeeting has allowed us to serve long-distance clients in a practical and effective manner.
  • Our ability to jump on conference calls and show screens has reduced inefficiencies and allowed for higher project profitability.
  • Improved overall communication with clients, both local and long-distance.
The platform is easy to use and highly intuitive. Our team and our clients appreciate the features and functionality and it is an integral part of our daily activities. The video recordings are super easy to use and are helpful for meetings where training or something that may need to be revisited can be easily captured and emailed to the client.
Support for GoToMeeting is helpful and timely. There are rarely times when support is even needed and when it is needed, I have found their support to be responsive. They also have a solid support section with helpful FAQs and articles to self-help when your issue is easy to solve and doesn't require a support rep to get involved.
In all honesty, there is very little difference from features and functionality standpoint from GoToMeeting and their primary competitors. It boils down to interface and ease of use for me. GoToMeeting is highly reliable and has evolved enough over time to keep me as an 8-year customer. I have tried Zoom and Skype for Business and much prefer GoToMeeting.
GoToMeeting is a great product for companies of all sizes and is well suited for people looking to host online web conferences and conference phone calls. There are a lot of competitors out there but we have been pleased with the product over the years and the reliability that we get from the solution. If you are looking for a reliable and affordable solution that your clients and users will find easy to use, this is a great one.
