Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting

GoToMeeting was being used as our conference tool. The program was very easy to use and allowed a variety of views such as having a grid to see all members at the same time. There was very little interference unless it was a user error. GoToMeeting allowed us to collaborate across the country in one location.

  • Ability to view all members at the same time.
  • Echo (mainly due to users not turning off their mics when others were talking).
  • Simple for even basic technology users to use allowing them to stay more focused on the meeting.
It is very simple to use. For basic users, it was easy for them to follow along with the meeting and not worry about if the technology was working. When asked a question about how to do something in GoToMeeting it was very easy to walk them through something such as shutting off their microphone.
I have not needed to contact customer support on this product. The GoToMeeting website also has a lot of information for support in the event that something goes wrong with the program.
Ring Central is very similar to GoToMeeting. I would say they are interchangeable when talking about the ease of using the program. They also seem to have identical features and work well. I have also used Blackboard Collaborate, and GoToMeeting is far superior to Blackboard. If comparing all three, I would recommend GoToMeeting and Ring Central, but would not recommend Blackboard.
GoToMeeting is perfect for companies that need to collaborate with others who are not in the same location. It was very easy to share a screen and walk clients through how to use a specific part of a program. Clarity was always present when working with others and the program never crashed, making it reliable in time-sensitive meetings.
