Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting

GoTo Meeting is used to carry out virtual meetings across project stakeholders and to carry out presentations with note-taking from participants. The recording feature is also used to document the results of meetings and action items for projects. This software solves the problem of sharing ideas across multiple locations and staff members.

Pros

  • Scheduling of meetings.
  • Integration with Google Calendar.
  • Note taking feature in meetings.

Cons

  • The recordings seem to have a limited time for accessing.
  • Notes can be hard to associate with certain parts of the recordings.
  • Additional users should be included in the base plan.
  • Product meets expectations.
  • Product provides enough documentation for meeting materials.
  • Screen sharing features are very useful and powerful.
GoTo Meeting competes well with all these tools, but the note-taking feature and calendar integration has kept this software at the top of the list. It has been in the market for a long while and it continues to meet the business expectations and to support the goals of the organization.

GoTo Meeting is a good tool for scheduling meetings and for integrating the meeting invites into the Google calendars for sharing details. It also works well for recordings, even though the life of these recordings seems to lapse at times. The note-taking feature is a great added bonus, but it can be difficult to associate these with specific points of the meeting.
