Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use GoTo Meeting to host client calls, internal virtual meetings, and messaging. GoTo Meeting allows us to connect in the meeting from anywhere while you are on the go and from any device including desktop, phone, and tablet. GoTo Meeting user interface is simple, intuitive, and provides you with excellent features such as screen sharing, drawing tools, custom background, presenter control, cloud-based recording, meeting lock, single sign-on, session encryption, and removing unwanted attendees. After the meeting, you can download transcriptions and content presented during the meeting. GoTo Meeting is used widely across each department in our organization.

Separate GoTo Training suit by LogMeIn for hosting a training, so it could be integrated with GoTo Meeting.

Webex Meetings, Microsoft Teams and Zoom

For us, GoTo Meeting is recommended by the client as they were using it for quite some time and they were happy with the audio and video quality of the system, so we initially bought a few subscriptions to try it out. After using it, we can say that the software does an awesome job while hosting online meetings. It supports easy integration with the apps we already use such as Outlook, Chrome, and Salesforce. In comparison to its competitors, features in the competitive products are almost the same, but GoToMeeting allows you to choose a subscription model/plan that fits your needs in terms of pricing and features you need.

GoTo Meeting does an excellent if you want to host a virtual audio/video conference. It provides crystal clear audio and HD video quality if you have a stable and good internet connection. Features of the software such as a commuter model for mobile meetings, single sing-on, and accessibility with any mobile and tablet devices make it more suitable to you while you are on the go. Meeting transcription and cloud recording helps you to recollect all important points in case you have missed them. The software is less suitable if you have a low-speed internet connection and legacy devices.
